Is this allowed in Ontario Solo1 in 2002? If so, does it depend on class?
Is this allowed in Ontario Solo2 in 2002? If so, does it depend on class?
Note I don't want to get into a debate about whether it should be allowed, but I want to know how the rules are applied. I know people have done it in the past, but as far as I can read the rules don't mention it, therefore it isn't allowed???
TIA.

OK, here's my understanding.
Yes it is allowed but it comes with some limitations. Mainly being that you cannot swap drive train components. Anything else is fine. Also, I believe the donor parts must come from a vehicle that was made in this country. And the last restriction that I remember is that you cannot do any swap when remaining in a Stock class. Updating/Backdating begins in super Stock.
I hope that helps.

Huh?
What the hell does that mean? "must come from a vehicle made in this country"?

I think he means you can't put, say, JDM parts on your USDM vehicles.

pretty much yeah
So don't put any USA or JDM civic parts on your Canadian model. That kinda thing
Is backdating allowed for different models of the same car in the same class?
For example in Solo II, my Integra GS-R (stock) is in the same class as a stock Integra Type-R (BSS). Would putting the springs from the Type-R on my car be permitted?
Thanks,
Ian

SOLO 2 rules aren't the same and up dating back dating is not allowed.
