i just need to make sure of where my car is going to fit in :
- 89 Civic DX
- Roll Cage (will have Nascar style door bars and doors gutted)
- will have Headers and custom race exhaust
- will have Cold Air Intake
- Fire Suppression System
- Michelin Pilot Sport Cups /w aftermarket rims
- Race seat /w 5pt harness
- interior stripped
- will have strut braces
That's all i can think of right now. I intend on road racing this car hopefully by next year.

welcome to the message board.
89 Civic DX starts in H stock in Autoslalom
Roll cage gives you 2 more points to play with (for Body and trim)
Headers.. ekk I have to look those up...
Cold air intake bumps you to Super Stock so CSS is your class at the moment
Firsuppression system gives you 1 more point to play with for (so long as it's 5lb system or more) body and trim..
wheels and tires are free in CSS
Race seat thats the point used from the fire system
interior stripped .. so thats at least the removal of the passenger seat and the rear bench. so thats the 2 points from the Roll cage. But you've probably taken out all the lining and everything else. Not sure hoe many points that is.
Strut bracing is free in Super Stock so thats ok.
so looks like you'll have a few points to play with. the rule book can be found here so that you can look up the stuff I didn't know right off the top of my head.

of course if your road racing it I'd suggest looking at the road racing forum for the rules for that stuff. it's something I'm completely unfamilar with.
Anyways look forward to a competitive season shouldbe great with tons of events in Ontario.
