What happened.I thought H stock was the hot ticket. No matter,I have to learn how to drive through the maze of cones.
I have to say it looks hard when you are along for a ride.It is a tough skill to learn in my opinion.

I was hoping Ryan, Jason and myself would be in HS.This is going to be a blast this year.I found a 91 Si local and i should have it ready with shocks, tires etc by weeks end.
I want to do some Wosca events to warm up my skills a bit.

Beware of Opal driving her Insight in H-stock!
At the last Wosca event she beat Ryan, Jason, myself and even Subaru Don on ice

P5... got it... I figured it out.
Welcome back to the smack-talk.
Get yourself the "appropriate" alignment and drive the sheite out of it... that's the beauty of stock!

Hey, Miataboi, exactly what would you suggest as appropriate alignment and where would I go to get that..... I have no problem with the idea of driving the "sheite" out of the thing.... it goes back to the leasing company next December. :D

You have to stay within stock specs... so I'd get ahold of those if I could... and then go to wheelandtirezone.com for an alignment.
For auto-x... I'd maximize -ive camber if you can... and use toe-out in all 4 corners! :D
Might want 0-toe in the rear for safety for the street... (so that it doesn't surprise you under braking in corners, etc.
You'll be limited by the stock specs I suspect.
IF you know what you're getting as your next car... (if it's a mazda product...protege, p5, mazdaspeed, etc...) you COULD invest in some dampers (struts)...
Otherwise... rims, tires, alignment and givv'er!

Thanks muchly... I'll talk to the folks at WheelandTireZone.... I bought my tires there......
I haven't a clue what I will replace the P5 with but it won't be a lease and it won't be new.... I want to be able to afford a few mods on the next one without worrying about having to return it at the end of a lease...... might be a 2 year old Mazda3 but who knows...... it has to be reliable on the street as well as the track... can't afford a dedicated racer!

If it were me... I'd pick a class that I wanted to compete in ... then pick a car... but you said you wanted to "mod" the car... so I'd figure if you want to go to SS or SP.
Either one MAXIMIZED... isn't really the best street car... too stiff...
A car like a MSP, a Type R or a SS Integra GSR would be car's I'd consider...
But for a single car... don't swim upstream... go to spda-online.com and buy a used subie. AWESOME performance cars for GTA'ers as an only car.
Sadly... it's likely what I'd do in the same position... :( Don't tell anyone that I said that.
Joe is the AWD messiah!
(don't tell him I said that)
AWD... + suspension... plus a few add-ons... = a great all-round car.
Mike is a poser.
Luca is lucky...
You can get them!!!
