Trailer?

I'm just wondeering how many people trailer their cars to solo 1 events? Am I a fool for thinking I can drive my car for 2 hrs just to get to Shannonville, race it, then drive it back home? I'm getting a Gold CAA membership so I can get it towed if something breaks, but is that enough? I'm only asking because I have access to a relatives SUV, so I can acquire a trailer and use it for weekends if I need to.

I trailer, but only because my car has a tendancy to break drivetrain components like the rear gears and burn brakes to a crisp. :)

There were a number of us that drove from Ottawa to all of the events last year. The key is that we all had relatively stock cars less than 10 years old. My rule of thumb would be if the car is reliable enough to daily drive you should be fine, if its a track only car with heavy mods then you may wish to trailer it.
