The Solo School is currently about 1/3 full. I believe last year, we sold out shortly after the Open House.
There was a lot of interest in the school at SpeedoRama and the Autoshow, so this year, I expect that we will sell out at or before the Open House.
If you are thinking of signing up, or know someone who would be interested, you should get a registration form in soon!

Do you pre-pay or pay on the day of? The reason I ask is because I would love to take part in the school, but I won't have any cash until the beginning of May. :(

That's the day of the school, when we expect the event to sell out.

Oh, you can register the day of the event? I figured it would be sold out. In that case I hope it doesn't, because I really want in. :)

Unfortunately, that isn't possible at this time. :( But I imagine there will be other schools over the summer and several lapping days to practice.

If I'm at a lapping event, I'd be happy to give you some tips or even a ride in the rocket. Look me up (Steve Cole by name) if there's a lapping event. Whether you take the class or not.
I suspect I'll be doing mostly lapping events this year with other projects at the house taking priority.

Much appreciated Steve. I've never been out on a road course, so I'll take all the advice I can get. :)
Is that for the Solo I school? I want to go to the Solo II school/course/class/whatever, but I haven't seen any dates, costs, etc. and I sure don't want to miss it, because I NEED to be there! Those of you who have seen me in a kart will know what I'm talking about!
Thanks

If you've never been out on a road course before I suggest getting rides from other people first and stay away from Steve for a little while.
It's not his driving. That's just fine. It's his car. It has googles of power. Steve took me out for a couple of laps last year and scared the crap out of me. But...I loved it.
Steve, can we do that again?
