After speaking to Carl about the hotels he listed in his post, I'm trying to get a list of people who haven't booked a place yet that want to stay at the Auberge St-Eustache. It's the one that is closest to the track. Since they get a lot of people attending track sessions at the Auberge, Carl said he would look into getting us a group rate.

Rooms are either 2 doubles or 2 queen so list the prefrence. AFAIK its basically a bare bones motel and the rates will flucuate from $70 & $80 per night if you book in French to $85 & $95 if you book in English.

If you want to see what's around there click HERE (http://yellowpages.ca/searchBusiness.do?distance=10&action=homeSearch&srchtype=category&Se=csb&provinceId=&showMsgBox=1&what=auberge+st-eustache&listingId=54681587&Dir=&sType=closebySearch&pst=simpleSearch&step=entry&pcid=0&city=st-eustache) . Hopefully Yellowpages provides static search links.

The closest chain hotel with the same rates is Best Western in Laval, which is $85/night for 2 queen beds

Carl,

Tashko has already booked there, so if we get a rate cheaper than his $70, can we get him into the group booking instead?

Hi guys!

I'm Sebastian from TRAC Racing. I beleive I've met a few of you at Mosport last summer.

I just got off the phone with Auberge St-Eustache. The prices for the weekends of April 9 -10 and 16 -17 are as follows:

Dbl beds: 70$ tx in./night
Queen beds: 80$ tx. in./night

Unfortunately, they do not offer group discounts. As far as booking in french or english, I don't know what to say! Just mention that you are coming to the TRAC Racing School and that you were quoted these prices already. They also have junior suites, but don't expect the Ritz Carleton!!

Looking forward to meeting you all again!

Seb.

Thanks, I just booked my room. As usual, those prices are based on double occupancy. For 3 add another $15.

What gas stations around there sell 94 octane? Is it a common octane in Quebec? Only Sunoco sells it here in Ontario.

Exactly, Petro-Canada is the only station selling 94 octane. Unfortunately, the closest one is a bit further from the track then the motel. Figure about a 10 minute drive....

Sebastien,

can you give me the details of where the station is and how to get there from the track or the motel?

sure... it's pretty straight forward. From the motel or the track, it's HWY 640 East to HWY 13 South and then HWY 440 East... stay on the service road, Petro Can is right there!

Just so I'm clear on the location of everything, did you mean to say Hwy 640 EAST to 13 south?
