Hello Everyone,

Currently I have a 2002 Chrysler Sebring and thought it was capable of towing a Formula Vee.

After doing research on hitches and trailers her are my discoveries:

U-Haul stated:
My car is capable of using a class 1 or 2 hitch.

Chrysler:
My car is capable of using a Class 1 hitch only. I questioned that U-Haul had said I can use a class 2 hitch but Chrysler said it was because U-Haul most likely pulled numbers from the US based sebring aparently different from Canada.

Having said that, Class 1 hitch (my only option now with a sebring) can tow 1,000lbs. FormulaVee + Trailer will most likely be over that, the car itself is roughly 900lbs.

Any thoughts, ideas, or help?

Worse case sceniario
Uncle #1 use his heavy trailer + Uncle #2 use his cube van to tow

Have us design & build a ramp type trailer with tongue cargo box.
We can build anything you desire in Aluminum. See our work at the Toronto Sportsman Show Mar 16th to 20th. We will have two new concept Tent Trailer which when folded to Transport mode carry 2 full sized ATVs. We will also have some Aluminum utility trailers at the show.
We are in Hall A Booth 123. MILLROAD MANUFACTURING & SALES INC. ;)
