Is there anyone in Canada (or better yet Ontario) that does Koni rebuilding/revalving. I would also like to have mine shortened.

I can't find anything on the net in Canada.

Check with Pete at Northern Performance. I think he can probably hook you up.

Wow, OLD THREAD!

I sold the Konis to another Prelude owner and bought Teins. He then sold them to a 3rd person and bought his own Teins. Last I heard they were sold again to a 4th person (this time not from TPC) and the rumor was the 3rd owner was buying Teins.

To this day we have trouble convincing people in TPC that the Koni Yellows for the Prelude are under damped and they should go with KYB AGX, or just save up and buy Teins.

Well, we try. :)

This Koni that is need of rebuilding - are you the original owner? If not, sometimes buying a new one is close to the cost of rebuilding. Now is the chance for you to revalve them, or even convert to double adjustable. :)

Email me directly, peterm@marcor.ca, and I can try to help.

From what I have been told, the next ones will be the rear VW Mk2/Mk3 shock for off-the-shelf RACE valving. There are already universal single and double adjustable inserts available.

I had not seen the start date until later.

But, this is the time of year to consider one's rebuilding issues. The guys in their shop are slower, and they tend to be less stressed than if you send them a shock in May.

Just out of curiosity, how much are the koni rears for the Mazda6? I believe they're available in yellows only... Shipped to Toronto (too lazy to drive).

:)

EDIT: I just thought about it.. Maybe I should've just Pm'd. NVM..
