A bone-stock GTS Viper won two One Lap of Americas in a row, in one case beating Rick Potter's single turbo RX7 making around 430rwhp and also Reg Reimer's 580rwhp Supra.

I'd say that they work pretty well.

Is this the new viper? (or just a concept) From toronto autoshow:

No experience about viper except being passed a few times on the Mosport. "It is a remarkable car and underated by many car guys" was the type of comment I got from the driver and some of its passengers. Not sure if this is for all vipers or just specific model, there's no (room for a) dead pedal in the car and it would take quite some time to get used to for people like me (dead pedal or an area that I can press against).

The only knock I've heard about the Vipers is that the pedal position is odd and the driving position in angled a bit strangely because of the tunnel running down the centre of the car. But hey, you can't knock the results the car has produced, that's for sure. Gotta love that much power and they look just about as aggressive and muy macho as you can get

If money was truly no object, I wonder what car in stock form would beat the Viper in something like 'One Lap'? I'm thinking Ferrari F40/F50, McLaren F1, and maybe the Lambo Diablo 6.0?
Is the Ultima GTR street-legal?

Fun to dream...

The Ultima GTR is street-legal, yes. I almost had a ride set up in one, but it didn't work out in 2K. Great car, but needs a little work on the suspension to make quick.

Rick,

Do I get a discount if I buy a new viper and a new pick-up, with a viper motor in it, to tow it with? Just wondering incase I win two lotteries.
