1) showing up early has it's benifits of being able to help design a course
2) my brother likes to clean my windows I think he started to wear out the glass
3) I'm still hitting cones
4) I can go off course and not be noticed (I'll remove that trick from my book since I was still slower)
5) Team Dynamics 14x7s do not fit a Miata with big brakes
6) they do fit an Insight and the insight can use the rear tire cover thingys still
7) Park beside the subarus they leave you gifts at the end of the day. (maybe next time it could be a few seconds off my last run... I do like the coat however Mike)
8) Having no resturant open in the mall sucks... (I hate having to take the tape off the plates and removingt he numbers and getting to an in-town food shop to discover it busy then waiting in line... grrr the resturant was closer and better)
9) Opal adds the perfect amount of counter weight to the car. my run times were faster when she was in the car.
10) I need to work on my steering input.

1. The sun doesn't like Celtic people.
2. MX6 Leather Seats are slippery... veeeeery slippery (3 bruises, a cramped foot and something that felt like a pulled muscle in my hand)
3. The best part of owning a Civic is that everyone and his monkey is selling good used parts.
4. The worst part of owning a Civic is that everyone and his monkey is trying the buy the same good used parts your trying to buy.
5. If R's aren't new then it doesn't seem to really matter.
6. Don't go to a friend for burgers after the event if your not ready for people to nag about not having results up before they go to bed. (it's not good enough that I woke up at 7:00 was the 2nd person on the lot and the last person off the lot, and I didn't even run or collect organizer's points)
7. It is very hard to keep up to a Prelude in a Civic DX when there is no tach, you don't know where redline is, and your not even certain that there's a rev limiter if you find it.
1. Fastest time of the day is inspired by 0.5 litres of water and half an hour in line. Let's just say you have incentive to drive quickly.
2. I need to buy stock in a sunscreen company. Oh, wait. Maybe they'd sign up as a sponsor?
3. Random strangers will accost you in the Blandford Mall washroom to ask about your hat.
4. Anything that goes right? Driver.
Anything that goes wrong? Tires!
5. Best excuse ever for not taking passengers? No seat!
6. Some jokes never die.
I'd translate that into "keep your shirt on," but let's face it:
(a) Where's the fun in that?
(b) Never gonna happen.
7. There's nothing like the sound of a WHOOHOO! after a long winter.
8. From here on, I pack a lunch.
9. H Stock is getting crowded! :D

the 10 things that I learned (well I already knew the first 9, it was just reinforced after a long winter).
Lessons 1-9 - It's all about the body roll.
Lesson 10 - Apparently a stock Civic DX can go faster on 2 wheels than 4....... (or so I was told by two different people). I still can't believe that a civic on street tires can get both inside tires up in the air in a sweeping 160 degree corner!

*cough cough*
Guess you didn't hear about the last time I tried to drive Jason's car, eh?
Jason: "You're going off course! Off course, off course! What the heck are you doing?!?"
Opal: "Can't. Turn. Wheel!"
I tell you, ego and this sport do not go together. Always a humbling experience for me.
And that, boys and girls, is the only situation wherein you'll hear me talking like Shatner.

LOL.. That reminds me. I once had the steering break in an SAE car at about 60 km/h just as a cop car pulled into our testing area directly in my path. Fortunately the breaks still worked very well.

urethane engine/ tranny mounts This puts you straight into DSP. With stock mounts, DSS.
Everything else on your list is free except the springs (three points) in SS level and above.

10 Things I learned:
10- Put your stuff in the car the night before. Doing it first thing in the morning gets you tired before the day starts
9- Don't drink so much coffee in the morning the bathrooms are futher than you think.
8- Don't break the seal on your rad cap, it leads to a day long battle of keeping your rad fluid topped up
7- Mount your video camera on a tripod. Can you say SHAKY!!
6- If you overshoot your breaking zone an airpot loop is more fun than you think!
5- Only losing 4 secs over it is even better!
4-
3-
2-
1- SUNBLOCK SUNBLOCK SUNBLOCK SUNBLOCK
-1 I smell like an aloevera garden!!!!

I'm sorry I won't post the excel file to the net as excel files can be found be search engines, which is how the insurance companies are getting people.
The official polocy is that I will hand deliver copies of the excel file to paid WOSCA members only. I've made one exception to this for the sake of the PAX discussion last year.
