who has the highest power to weight in solo 1?

if people only have oem bhp levels to work with assuming 15% loss...

I'm around 6.5:1 I think. But using that on Shannonville or the DDT is next to impossible.

we talking wheel horsepower or crank horsepower? At the crank my car is making about 240hp, so the p:w ratio is about 8.3. If we're talking wheel horsepower, p:w ratio goes up to about 9.5.
Torque to weight ratio is considerably higher, but I'll never be below 7,000rpm so I'm not all that worried about torque.

I just took another 50 lbs. out of the car by removing the bumper supports. Those things are pretty heavy! Figured as may strip the car down as much as possible for the OTC. I'll bring it back up to C/SP spec when I get home. I've got 3 'Body & Trim' points to blow anyway, so I guess I could leave the bumper supports off if I wanted. We'll see. I may go with a fiberglass hood and some lexan windows instead. Bumper supports are fairly low on the car and they may add some structural rigidity, so I'd rather remove weight heigher up on the car like the hood and windows.

hey thats a good point..i only weigh in at 150lbs...dave from what i remember your a bit heavier...so that will reduce your power to weight... we are tied in the hair dept :)

It's true Tom, I haven't sat on Adam manly lap for a few years now.

Sadly, I'm close to 220 lbs., though most people wouldn't guess I weigh that much. I'm all body hair and cod piece, so it's a bit deceiving. So yeah, there's an extra 70 lbs. that could be added to the equation. Of course I do plan on going on the Red Pepper weightloss plan, where my genitals shrivel down to the prepubescent size of Tom's microscopic unit :eek:
