looking at some other profiles, it looks like we need a way to screen out the undisireables

Screening would be good. We don't need that crap
At very least maybe a disclaimer to the effect that this site has no control nor endorses member submitted info (you get the idea)

Tony, CASC implemented a policy of moderating all new users requiring them to demonstrate some legitimate reason to participate on the boards about four months ago to try and avoid what you're pointing out.
The user account you identified (and several others which I noticed were similar) were deleted this morning. All were created some months prior to the new policy, when any new user was granted immediate access.
My suggestion is that if you or anyone else find something of this nature in future that you send us a private message with more detail rather than posting it on the boards, because no doubt several others read your message and visited potentially harmful websites to see what the fuss was about.
But thanks for pointing this out - you're right, it's not what we want on the CASC-OR forums.

I would say from the look of those accounts that they were created by bots searching the web for open forums. The person with the linked web site likely gets half a penny per click. So Tony, you just made him a few cents by pointing it out.

Yes. If you click "members" in the upper right corner you can browse the profiles. The profiles in question never actually made any posts.
