casc forum?

what the heck? How come Casc Race does'nt have a forum and solo ontario does? You would think with all the competitors they have, that they would! Are they just lazy?

There is... It's just not here. Take a look at the left side of the CASC-OR website. A link to the discussion board at http://www.teutonic.ca/forums/ is there now.

Where did this new CASC forum board come from? Is it the official CASC board or what? It appears to be. If so why weren't CASC club people informed?:confused:

It's a very recent development. The announcement should be made shortly. (I think the person in charge of this at CASC-OR is busy getting his car ready for Spring Fling :D)

So, uh, what about this forum?

It's a little bit confusing isn't it? Teutonic is hosting the CASC forums, but this is the official Solo 1 and Solo 2 forum. It seems silly to duplicate the work.

I guess that's the touchy part. CASC wants forums for all their series, and understandably, want to keep the forums together. One of the goals of the forums is to promote interaction between members of the different groups, in hopes that members traditionally belonging to a single group will be exposed to the other events.

Solo Ontario is the only group that has their own forum so far, so the expectation is for the solo group to keep using this board, and hopefully will migrate over to the official one slowly.

Hopefully we'll be able to merge the two boards together soon. (Have yet to discuss with the Solo Ontario administrator...) Meanwhile, do what I do and just regularly check both boards :D
