The Subaru Performance Drivers Association is pleased to announce a series of Solo events in support of thier entry into Targa Newfoundland.

The events will be held May 15, July 9 and July 31 at the Brampton Sports and Entertainment Complex.

Reg at 8:00, drivers meeting at 930 and first car at 10:00

6 runs

In the spirit of the Targa Rally
All runs count for a total score
There will be no DNF's ( you will use the slowest time in your class for that run plus 2 seconds)
Overall position will be determined by Ontario Regional Pax.

All courses will be designed to be challenging to all levels of participant.

The overall series winner will recieve a trophy.

All competitors that enter at least 2 of the 3 events will have thier name put into a draw for a Targa Newfoundland Jacket.

There will be some draws at the events for door prizes/

Ontario regional rules in effect.
Ontario regional competitors may use thier numbers.
All other competitors will recieve numbers starting at 200.

Look forward to seeing you all out, its short notice for the first event but a good tune up for the regional series and for those people attending the HADA solo school on saturday an opportunity to try out thier new found skills.

Entry fee $30

We were discussing this at the WOSCA meeting. Do you total the times for each event and then score the individual events. Or do you simply add every run from every event for a comulative series time? I'm looking forward to this scoring concept!

Awesome!

I love the idea of cumulative times! Penalise the people who are inconsistent and cone. The one off fast run shouldn't be the deciding factor.

Autoslalom should reward consistent, fast and CLEAN runs. It is a sport of precision isn't it?

If only regionals were run this way...

We add up every time for the event to give you an event time. You are then scored by ONT pax to determine your overall position.
We will add up the three event positions to determine the overall winner.
You have to compete in all three events to win the series, but all competitors running at least 2 events will be put in a draw for a TARGA jacket.

Yes, this series does reward consistency. We didn't want to exclude anyone for a dnf run , thats why we give the slowest score in class plus 2 seconds.

This is going to be a funtastic event. Door prizes for each event, and flat out running from the "First" to the "Last" run.

Fun and fast.

See y'all there.

Tony

What happens if the class isn't full, or there is only one car in the class? Is it the family pax average?

doesn't matter. regional pax is applied similar to the regional series. there are no class winners.

What Ralph is saying is, what if he's the only car in his class. What time does he get for a dnf?

He gets his slowest run + 2 seconds.

As simple as that.

Hope this helps.

I don't believe my car will be there sunday unless some sort of miracle happens.
If it does show it will be without any drivetrain modifications.
