I'm hoping to go, hoping my brake pads get here in time, hoping to have money for tires. If I make it I'll see if I can keep up, my new sway bar is good for 100whp so that should even it up.

if my car is properly sorted out by then I'll probably be there. Looking forward to seeing Brent's turbo swaybar :)

Yes Dave, if you go to the DDT that weekend and I don't see you... I.. I might never speak to you again. :)

whatchu talkin' about Willis? :p

If I had cubic money like all you rich Bimmer and S2000 nerds I'd register for the big track event too...that and having Chris as an "instructor" seems a little too much like having Evil Knivel as a Safety Director.

CHris says to student, "come on now, get your inside wheels too the grass side of the rumble strips! Think of them as hurdles dammit!". Who would have guessed Bimmers make such good lawn mowers! :D

Dave,

I object! I'm not going to be showing anyone how to cut grass at the big track, not unless they've got special hardware such as I've installed on my John Deere 328is:

christian...
that would work very nice for wheat as well..you should contact some local farmers :)

Dave: Hehe, I would love to. But even if I had the scratch, I wouldn't exactly say I'm ready to do so. Perhaps next year.

Christian, that's a nice splitter/harvester! I've actually made a splitter for my car too. It's not quite as large as yours, but then very few of us can make such a claim

ADAM

dave how did you make one?

maybe one day we should all get together and have a "front splitter" building day?

i know i have a nissan..but you could probably live with me for a day :)

Adam, you'll see my splitter/spoiler soon enough and it'll be fairly obvious how I built it. Until then, you'll just have to live in suspense :)

In my previous post I had stated that I was hoping to go to the track day. Hoping my brakes get here in time, hoping to have money for tires.

I should have added, hoping I will not get layed off.

So if anyone is in need of a slightly used Electronic Technician/ Radio-Radar installer/ Electrical installer/ Roofer/ Sheetmetal Worker/ Foreman I am available.
