Anyone looking to move a set 18" wheels (with or without rubber) may email or post details.
A buddy is looking to bling up his new Golf TDI.
I am unsure offhand what will fit - Mits help me out here?
Here are a few ideas:

hit up the // CANADIAN CLASSIFIEDS // section at www.vwvortex.com in the forums, there are wheels always going left right and center for good prices.

I am selling some Enkei 17" x 8" 5 spoke 5 x 100 silver rims that were previously used on a 2002 MKIV GTI. According to previous comments on the Enkei website they weigh just under 18 lbs each, and all nuts/locking hdwe/caps included. The rims are the RP02J model. I can email some pics if interested. I appreciate they are not 18" rims, but these are very clean and have less than 3500 km on them.......they also were never driven in cold weather. Previously they had 225/45/17 Falken Azenis' on them.
Sorry Derek, I don't regularly check the WTB section.
Here's another place to look:

It's not a forum I frequent but there are usually wheels for sale there.
On a non wheel related point, your friend should check out www.tdiclub.com, the cheapest people on the planet but very knowledgeable! :D They are wise in the ways of making diesels quick (surprisingly so).
