Attention all Solo Brethren and Sistren (?).
This weekend - April 27-28 the regional racing season kicks off with the BARC Grand Prix of Ontario - at Mosport (big track).
The lineup includes the Canada GT Challenge Cup, Sprints, GT cars, Vintage, formula cars and of course the Nissan Spec Series!
The big draw for Solo enthusiasts should be the Nissan Street Stock Series.
Up to 20 identically prepared - Nissan Sentra's - going at it with virtually NO car advantage. This is designed to be a true driver's series.
The field includes many seasoned veterans with Canada Challenge Cup, Motorola Cup, Formula 1600 and F2000 experience.
Not to mention 8 time Solo1 champion - Tony McGrath, Solo1 Director - Perry Ianuzzi, and of course yours' truly, Nick Majors.
As a novice, my goals for the year are to finish consistantly in the top ten and to finish at least one event in the top five.
Hope to see as many friends and supporters out there as possible. Should be a great time.
(Note - there is an admission charge - not sure but I think it's $10 - $15.)
All the best
Nick
