Results from Sunday's CASC-OR 2005 Mobil 1 Autoslalom Championship Series Sponsored by Inside Track Motorsport News - Event # 3 hosted by WOSCA are up on www.casc.on.ca and will be up on www.solo2ontario.com shortly.

If you notice anything that needs correcting, please email me at solo2guy@sympatico.ca with your comments.

Thanks to Tony, Joe and all the timing crew. Also thanks to the event organizer Marshall and all the WOSCA crew for a great event.

Hopefully the next event won't have a parking lot ambient temperature of 45 degree Celius.......holy!

The next event is July 10th (Molson Indy day) at Douro Arena in Peterborough, hosted by PMSC. See you there!

Where on CASC.ON.CA can I find the results? Also, the schedule on casc.on.ca still lists the MCO and HADA events on their old dates. Don't forget to have them update that site.

Pick the Solo 2 Ontario logo....... The schedule posted in that section is correct. I will look into the other posting and make sure it gets updated.

I seem to have a different amount of points in the overall standings (263.9) and the class standings (274.4). How come?

JAY you will always have a different point total in your class as opposed to your overall standings... class is against the fastest time for that class and overall is your PAX'ed time versus everyone else's PAX'ed time.

I moved up one place I'm ahead of Wes... :p come on Wes come and get me next event ....

Tony,

Probably... but I have to browse the results to get the info into the spread sheet (which I've since emailed to Wes...)

if you look in the supplimental regs for the team stuff I have 24 hours to get my stuff together fromt he time the results are posted (since i take my info from that)

anyways next post I make I'll do my regular post as I give out the results for event 3....

Wow, looks like stock is the way to go this year!

Lucky for ESP that there is no class propositioning this year. Go Daniel!

Of course if I was able to show up I would have beat you this time. :)

NOT.

After I saw Daniel "back" at Picton... I stated that he'd be the overall favorite / my prediction.

Dude's good.
That's saying something... because I don't compliment Subie (AWD AND Turbo!!!) guys often.

Let's get Tay-Tay out in the type-R to keep Sibbitt honest!
:D

And with Brian... kinda wish I was still in CSS.... that's ok... next year he's boltin' on a blower to move up with the big-boi's in CSP.
The type-R vs. like 7 blown Miatas!
 :D  :p

I'm honest... no really I am...

but seriously, having Taylor pushing me at the DDT was good, it actually forced me to drive better, but at least this year we have pax... so that's generally what pushes me this year...

My RX-7 will be in CSP next year as well. Although I need to get some consistency in my driving. :o

boi/kid: Due to my focus with Solo 1, tire availability and desire to actually get some things done this summer, I'm cutting back on a lot of the events I do. I did have this grand plan of winning it all this year but the rescheduling of a Solo 1 events on top of HADA and SPDA's regional, the loss at the one regional event I did go to, forces me to attend all other events out of town which IMO, never cut the mustard for the effort involved.

What this really all means is.. it's too much effort and expense to win, so if I can't win, I don't wanna play. :p

Now that said, I have found some more tires, so in the true spirit of fairweather competition, if I'm well rested without a huge TTD list in front of me on a weekend when there's a Regional event.. I just might be there....aaaaaasuming it's like within an hours drive of my house. :P Because.. you never know, the rescheduled Solo events may still never happen.
