Road Racing Entry Level Class

It was suggested in an older thread on either the Solo I or Road Racing forums, I think by Bruce Mills, that someone with some time available should come up with a set of Regulations for a “13/13" type class, and as circumstances have dictated that I probably won’t be racing this year, I guess I’ll volunteer. For those interested in the this topic, please go to the thread Proposed “13/13" Class (working title) (not a link) on the Road Racing forum.

I'm interested...however it be nice if there was a championship... instead of it just being (from what I've read in the other threads about this) solo 1 with passing....

The way I could see it (to make things simple) use the OCC (Ontario Challenge Cup) as an example and just add a 13/13 rule (don't change OCC, make this still a separate championship and race)

the benefit is that when competitors in this new series are ready they can step up to OCC without making huge changes to their cars...the cars are prepped and ready to go for the next step up when they are ready.
