In the aftermarket I've seen these kits to help people with newer vehicles change tires quicker.......who has experience with these?
Where are they sold here in Ontario?
Are they safe?
Are they permanent, or can they be pulled off after competition season is over?
Thanks

There are usually thread in studs available, as well as the option of drilling out your hubs, and then using a press in stud. The thread in studs are *ok*, but the drilling and prssing in is much more work. If you had a 4 bolt VW, I might have some hubs already done. We do stock the thread in studs at work.

I seem to remember that the spherical seat bolts for the Factory VW wheels are the same seat radius as factory Honda rims. If I'm right then you can permanently convert to press in studs and use Honda lug nuts for your factory rims. If your street wheels are conical seat then nuts are very easy to find and there's no reason not to convert to studs permanently.

Marshall is correct. Honda nuts (12X1.5 ball seat) could be used on an OE VW wheel. We can even get replacement ball seat nuts, and not have to pay dealer prices.
I use press in studs, and change my cars over to them permanently.
