Yea, Porsches do that all the time. I remember one St. LAC regional there were twp 911's and an Opel GT all lifting their inside front wheels. Road & Track had a picture a 911 doing that on a road course for their cover a few years back.
I have seen a few miatas do that recently. I had a picture of my mustang doing that at a prosolo back in the day. Its not as common as the FWD cars but it happens.

Am I lifting fronts????
I know it's getting really close....
I also know that I definately lifted a REAR this weekend! A drive-wheel on a Miata!
 :D

I could not tell this weekend, to much rain and the lot would drop away in some places making it tough to see. I know I have a picture of S.Thong with a front tire up at a PITL event. As for your rear the only time I remember it coming up was at a hotel near Detroit  ... ummm but that's another story :o

Lifted my rear wheel couple months ago. Didn't think I could do that with a 3500lb car. :s

Geez, you young people act as if cars have always been front wheel drive. Lifting fronts on RWD cars used to be very common.
Cheers!

Nothing wrong with that. When the rear roll stiffness is low you have a nice rigid chassis the front inner lifts. See pic below.

My rwd drive corolla with its solid rear and unforgiving(ie: binds easy)4 link set-up lifts the inside rear all the time, mostly over rough stuff like the pic of the red civic.
