(Saturday May 18th is a regular pitl event) BUT MONDAY
MAY 20TH (victoria day) is confirmed and happening at Square
One in Mississauga.
Registration time is from 7:30 till and CLOSEs at 9:00am
that means once 9:00 hits registration will be closed regardless
if you're in line.
Get there early, register early, walk BOTH courses!!!!
you do NOT want to "learn" the course.. during qualifying..
you want to get your best time in, to make the elimination
round (2 out of 3 format)
ALL VEHICLES WILL BE IDENTIFIED WITH SHOE POLISH
ON BOTH SIDES AND REAR GLASS
-WITH CAR CLASS

9:15 is the drivers meeting
9:30 first group to do their qualifying runs.
Here.. you just line up with anyone in your class.
Winning or loosing doen't really matter.. all you want to do
is get your best time in, regardless which side you post your fastest time in..
Penalities are the same. 1 cone = 2 second penality added to your raw time.
cone penality= "down and out rule" applied
DNS=did not show does NOT RECORD A TIME
DNF=did not finish does NOT RECORD A TIME
Once we seed all the vehicles.. elimination round goes as follows:
1 (fastest ) vs. 16(slowet)
2nd vs 15th
3rd vs 14
etc.
THE HIGHER SEED will get LANE CHOICE!
The top 16 vehicles in each class will move onto the Elimination
rounds.
Marshalling duties will be shared.
eg. A-class is running = C class is marshalling
B class is running = D class is marshalling etc...
after qualifying, drivers making the elimination round will
be required to marshall..
those who didn't make it..
well.. tks for coming out.. get some more seat time in.. and come out to our next one in July.
In order to win you want to stay "CLEAN" the vehicle with the "cleanest" run.. moves on
examples:
1) civic vs. miata
civic red lights... miata wins
2) Lada vs. miata
Lada does not show at start line due to mechanical difficulties
miata wins
******NO GRACE PEROID WILL BE GIVEN.. *******
SURVIVAL OF THE STRONGEST WINS
3) vette vs. S2000
