What I learned at TLMC #6

Had to get one started...

1 - I want a Mini! (thanx for the fun run Daniel)
2- I don't always get beat in my own car...
3- Boosted Miatas are everywhere (4 of them today dammit!)
4- I bet a carbon roof for a S2K isn't cheap!
5- First time I've ever seen anyone actually register under their porn name
6- Apparently I'm not too hard on tires, my 710's have 125 runs on 'em and counting... guess I need to go faster!
7- Local events rock, I love not changing tires



Congrats to Paul K. and good old Ken Glenside for the 1-2 finish.

Thanks to everyone for coming out. We had just about 70 cars and got in 6 runs plus some fun runs.

I finally get to do one of these...

1- having boosted a miata doesn't means much...
2- being the slowest boosted miata sucks...
3- being on the same tire as Paul K took away the only excuse I can think of...
4- a civic that doesn't has vtec and its a 4dr can still beat a boosted miata!!(there goes another excuse...)
5- There can be more Mugen parts on a S2k then Hondas...

It was a great event. Thanks to everyone who's helped to make it happen!!

That one pesky boosted Miata (Ryan) just jumped in front of my little non-vtec sedan on the last run. I was hoping I'd stay in 5th place by my co-worker Brian in the ITR and Ryan pulled it out.

I too was on 100+ run V710s.....but I don't think anyone can use a tire excuse since FTD was set on V700s! I might have been closer on the 13s tho......

Kudos to TLMC for a very well run event! Any chance you could convince Molson to re-pave the lot? And get me some driving lessons? :D

why would one want to get any faster when he's doing so well already??

Non regional events are great, I can finish top 20 with mediocre driving. :o

How many MR2's with how many drivers :confused: :confused:

Daniel is fast in any car, but his front wheels are suffering the wrath of him not being able to control his lead foot.

I really have to try a RWD car soon, I know I cant do FWD very well and if I can do RWD then its AWD 4 LIFE :p

Great event. Nice lot too. It was my first time out to Barrie - good stuff! Not sure I follow the classing system though.

Props to Pete for fixing my toe-in issues. Even though I went slower after screwing with it... the car did turn in much better after the adjustments.

V700's still rock (remember when they were the sh*t to have??? the K6A compound was the bomb until the 710's came out) Mine are 2 years and 200 laps old and still look and drive great.

The red one light one was 5
The other red (mint) one was 2
My white one was 3 including myself.
(I think there were 3 in the turbo)
I must appologize for being late, we wanted to space our numbers, unforseen problems came up, and unfortunitly we ended up with numbers fairly close togeather.
