Ok I have limited knowledge of adjusting tire pressure for the course. I know I should look at the markings on the side wall to help determine what tire pressure I need.

Yesterday I had 45 in the front and 35 in the back tires. My front tires looked good without any roll onto the side wall, however my back tires were horrible. There was this one part that was marking 2 cm from the rim on the sidewall. Isn't 35psi pretty high for rear tires already?

Thanks

Mito, was that you in the metallic blue Prelude? You looked pretty good out there. We were running I think 44 in the front and 48 in the back. The only problem was the drivers side front tire had a slow leak. Doh! We were in the blue Civic HB, btw. If I had known that was you, I would have said hello.

I know the feeling. I'm just too competitive to not go all out every time.

Mito, what tires are you using?

If they are streets, the fronts should be fine but you may want to increase the rears a couple of pounds up to 36 or 37. This will help make the rear rotate a little more and not cause as much wear.

It does seem a little strange that you are using so much sidewall on the rears.

That could be a sign of too much caster.
