Hello all,
We're 10 days away from the Solosprint Nationals, and the number of registered competitors has over passed 75...... :eek: ! If you haven't done it yet, I recommend you reserve a spot ASAP as there is a limited number of entries for these events!
A couple of points to be aware of for Registration during that weekend:
1. There will be NO WALK-IN COMPETITORS for this event. No more entries will be received after Tuesday September 7.
2. For those of you registered for both days or Saturday only, Registration is happening ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON ONLY, between 4:30 and 9:30 pm..
3. For those of you registered for Sunday only, registration will take place ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON (after dinner) ONLY.
4. Registration and scrutineering WON'T BE OPEN the mornings of the events as cars are expected on the grid at 8 am.
5. If your car is not yet classified, I suggest you contact someone from the Car Classification Committee before going to the registration desk. For these events, I've received a big amount of entry forms without car information. Please be aware that I will not complete your process if you don't have the forms with you (and approved by the CCC) when you get to registration, so it will be double the work for you guys, as you would have to line up again....
6. Due to the number of competitors, lapping will not be available before competition on September 10 or 11, so if you're attending the lapping afternoon organized by HADA on Friday Sep. 9 (5:30 to 8:30 pm or until dusk), I'm also collecting the $50 entry fee for that on behalf of HADA. Let me know ASAP if you're interested.
7. Don't forget to send your guests to the registration desk as well, as they need to sign the waivers and get their wristbands!! The number of guests and spectators has increased considerably (which is really good for the promotion of the sport !! :) :) :) ) but we still need to make sure that the security rules are followed properly, and it's not fun to chase people around the track all day to make them sign... they must do it as soon as they entry the facilities!
