Hi

I have a new website called www.racepulse.com.



For those who haven't visited www.racepulse.com,
it features many racing links (over 1000) in an easy to use
format, a combined schedule of over 1500 race meets,
press releases and results, as well as many photos that I
have taken (30 years of history will be added). The links
has a favourites feature, so you can build a custom list of
your usual racing links.

I have recently added about 600 photos from the
Canadian Touring Trophy Races at Mosport.

There are close to 20,000 photos from this year so far,
including CASC and BARC regional racing, the Toronto
Kart Club, the ISMA Supermodifieds, DIRT Series, Sprints,
CASCAR, OSCAAR, Alstar, Can-am midgets, Canadian
Vintage Modifieds, and more. When the racing season
is over, I will start scanning and adding older photos.

The results and press releases section features many reports
from DIRT, Cascar, as well as releases provided by speedways
and race teams.

Just had a look.

Neat how all those other sanctioning bodies manage to get press releases out after their events, huh?

You type it up, and send it to the media ... put "- 30 -" at the bottom (don't ask my why!). Anyone can issue a press release ... we do it for our band once in a while when a CD comes out, or there is some particularily interresting gig coming up :)

Yup not since August 11 when I sent a press release to local radio stations for the BARC CTTR's at Mosport for the upcoming weekend. Yup, been a while now.

the problem I have is the send to the media stage? is there one single email address that hits them all....

There is and for a small fee (I think it's $275 a year) RBA (Russ Bond Agency) can send them out. I forget how many times a year you can send them.

If you just send me an email, with a title at the beginning,
I'll post the entire email on www.racepulse.com for you as
you sent it. If you can put "CASC" and your team name
in the subject it will be posted
faster if I don't know you ( I do this once or twice a day).

I know Greg at inside track mag posts some press releases as
well on his blog if you want to send them to him.
