Hello all,
I'm browsing this site for a couple of years now and.... here is my first post (better later then never).
I own a 96 Mustang Cobra and I am going to lap on Shannonville, full track, on Friday. Where can get some times to compare to, for this track configuration? What would be a good time for my car on this track? The car is stock engine, upgraded suspension, R-compound.
thanks

ADAM thanks for pointing me the page, it realy helped. As I stated before, I was browsing this site (and soloontario site) for a couple of years now, but I am not aware of a Solo 1 event on the FULL track @ Shannonville. Is not Fabi, is not Neslon, is not Pro, is full track. Some people may know it as LONG track. Was there any Solo 1 event there, cause I couldn't see it in 2000 and 2001 results?
thank you

There have never been any Solo 1 events on the Full Track. Only on Nelson, Fabi and Pro.
Oh well...

Thanks svt96.
BTW, check out http://www.drivingevents.com/. They have a North American track listing where you can enter in your lap times for various tracks. It's kind of neat.
Not much for SMP but maybe you can be the first one to post times for the Full Track :)

I have a 2:02 on the full track on street tires. Set it when my car was stock, actually. Rick Potter was running 1:59 with street tires.
Disclaimer: lapping session with hand-held stopwatch.

Thanks Shaman. I'm measuring the times with the camcoder. Don't know how precise is that...but it gives some times.
ctenche cool website. I was using Solo1 results up until now.

I found a video from Porche club. A tour of Shannonville full track. I assume is a 911 with an instructor on board. He's arround 2:10-th. He's probably not pushing the car too much but still....your time is great considering you were running on street tires with a stock Firebird.
Here is the link to the Shanoonville video (http://www.pcaucr.org/PCAUCR/Site.nsf/Public/ShannonvilleHandbook)

Yeah, but for some reason Shannonville used to give me better times. It seems a lot slipperier now to me, especially the last few corners approaching the back straight.

I assume you're talking about the Fabi straight, right? There is one corner there wich I can't take it right. I'm either to slow or too hot (@#$&$^&).
Steve, can I bother you for a ride if the chance comes? I'm dyeing for a ride in your red monster. I promise to return the favor on the spot, but don't expect much. I only did 2:10-ish on the full course, at least until I finished the tape in my camera. So you'll be whoping my mufllers, few times per session.

Hey, I don't mind as long as nobody keeps me from getting a few laps, they're welcome to tag along. There are a couple corners approaching the back straight that you have to move the car around a bit and seemingly overdrive it to be fast through them. They're just those kind of corners, which is why they are getting rough now.
