On Saturday October 22nd WOSCA will be putting on an invitational demonstration event at Fanshawe College as part of the schools "Race Into the Future" motorsports show to promote the schools automotive program.

Because of time and space constraints this event is entry by invite only. If you would like to attend please to hesitate to request an invitation. The car being driven is more important than the driver, but preference will go to WOSCA members, Fanshawe Alumni and experienced competitors (in that order).

That said there should be lots of room, I just don't want to see 20 stock Miatas, 10 stock Civics and 10 B-series Civics.

To apply send me a pm here or email 'wosca at hotmail dot com'

Wes I'd love to have you attend... I'd love it even better if you had a different car though. :o

I'm waiting to hear about a track day late in October, and perhaps a mandatory date with the wife, but if those don't happen I would be happy to go.

... oh, and I'm going to loosen the rear sway bar a notch to protect the students. That nice slight power-on oversteer during the summer has turned into MODERATE oversteer with the colder track temperatures.

Doug, did you get a chance to look at it?

Marshall, I will let you know this week. Sorry, but I have a fleet of Civics..... I will bring out the newer and shiny one though :)

Never looked yet but it sounded pretty bad when I got home. It probably would have been smarter to get a tow.

Maybe I will use this ass the excuse for doing so crappy at the Shootout.

Looks like I have to miss the lapping day at Mosport unless someone wants to lend me their car. :(

I'll take the opportunity to try my new 26mm rear bar! Is a '91 Talon a more interesting car than YAC (yet another civic)? :D :D

I am seriously think about this event, does being a Wosca member/alumnist/experienced driver let me think about htis a little longer?

If people would like to attend, please send me an email or private message. It's too hard to keep track of them here.

If you need time to think about it don't worry, I'll make another post if space is getting limited.

How much extra driving time do I need to add to my trip from T.O. as I pass Woodstock?

What is the start time of the event? ...drivers meeting? ...first car?

I still haven't set a start time, because I still don't have confirmation of when we will get access to the lot. The plan is for registration at 10 am and first car around 11:30, but that's just a plan right now.

How big is the lot? Hopefully the weather forcast changes...

Unfortunately the lot is not big. It's hoped this will become an annual event and that we might have room to hold a pro on the bigger lot. But we couldn't get access to the bigger lot this year, so we're putting on a demonstration event on a smaller lot.
