Louis Martin/Hall of Fame

I am nominating Louis Martin (recently deceased, age 79) to be inducted into the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame (mechanics category) and would like anyone that had this master mechanic help them at any time, relay their story to me to support the application. Always recognized by his signature "Colin Chapman" corduroy cap, Louis was a fixture at Canadian racetracks over the past 40 or so years. He worked for the likes of Brack, Hill, Pease, Magwood, Bakers & Boxstrom (and many others). Chances are, if you had ever met him...you'll never forget him. He was a close friend, and he lived and breathed race cars like nobody else. Send me your memories, big or small...
