I have two sets of 'take offs' for use on lapping days. Any chance I can use these in Solo1? I know they take at least two laps to get up to temp...

Yes, you can use them for Solo 1.

Depending on their age, you may find that they are a little slower than most R-comps due to the endurance compound that they use.

They came of the Steeda Mustang this year. Compared to unshaved Toyos, will they be much slower?

They will probably be quicker than Toyos, but not likely as consistent over a 3-lap Solo I session because of their time to build heat. However, they will probably make a great lapping tire (especially for extended sessions).

Actually Greg, Adam won GT3 in his Nissan - but it was definitely a good year for the Rustang boyz...

however, If you look at the 6 events that we competed against each other in, I beat Adam 595.101 to 592.988, but he got to drop a couple embarrassing races like the Mosport GP and use the races which I wasn't in, which gave him the win :p
