We have been given the opportunity to sell a line of shoes, from Piloti. www.piloti.com

They have 2 lines of fire retardant shoes, as well as a line of non-fire retardant driving shoes.

They are very comfortable, thin enough to feel the pedals, and a molded sole.

The non retardant shoes will likely run for around $115.00-125.00 per pair, with the retardant ones running $150.00-165.00 range.

Is there much interest in this line of shoes?

the blue and yellow ones will match my car...

hard part about selling shoes is gettingt he size right .. personally I can range from a size 10 to a size 11.5 depending on what company is making the shoe... and the type of shoe it is...

Of course. But, assuming that they actually fit VERY well?

Obviously women's shoes are smaller than men's shoes. You just convert a men's shoe size to women's shoe size by shifting 1.5 sizes down. For example, a women's size 8 equals a men's size 6.5.

Since that would put me at a 3, given their sizing, I'll have to pass. :(

Good pricing for those shoes. :)

I used my Leafs for many years. The Simpsons I have had on were much more comfortable.

I have not used these ones but I understand they are made well.

Where are they made? I emailed them once and they wouldn't tell me. Which has lot to do with the sizing thing Jason was talking about. Unless they're made in the USA like my Simpsons or in Italy like Sparcos for the same price I'd pass.

The Piloti shoes sell very well actually as they can be used for Solo and walking around , without looking like a poser.
In some cases, the Piloti shoes can be used as a veritable race shoe as they are fire retardant.

Nothing replaces a real race boot but these shoes are great all around footwear.

I don't know what they normally go for, but the non-retardant shoes seem expensive to me.

Anyone have any experience with how long the soles of these last?
