Are you talking about Axles or actual Drive Shafts (like in a RWD car).
If you're talking about Driveshaft aka Prop shaft, I had mine custom built at Cardanic, they are located at Weston Rd and Toryork drive. They balance it after it's done.
For custom axles, like CV drive shafts, I had mine built custom at a place (i'll find the name) at Horner Ave and 426 area. They take raw chrome molly and cut splines, then harden it. Now I break CV joints, not drive shafts. LOL
for main drive (prop) shafts I use Dynamic Shaft
416-321-1075 (ask for Fred)
589 Middlefield Road, Scarborough
They have built and or modified 3 drive shafts for me.
For drive axles, I had Mark Williams (big name in Drag Racing) in Colorado build the shafts and Euro-Drive assemle them. Took 4 months though.
