April 29, 2005 Fabi Track, Shannonville Motorsport Park

The goals of the HRC Performance Driving School are three fold:

- to train and prepare rookies for competition;
- to fine-tune the racing skills of more experienced racers; and
- to offer the enthusiast a unique opportunity to learn the thrill of driving on a close race track.

The school's high quality of training and personalized instruction places it among the best in the industry, thanks to the dedication and professionalism of the instructors. Our favourable student/instructor ratio also ensures plenty of individual attention.

What You'll Need to Bring:

First and foremost, we'll be expecting a keen desire to learn... and that means an open mind regardless of how much - or how little - experience you've had. The second most important component is enthusiasm, which will help ensure the retention of everything you absorb during the weekend. And, on the more practical side:

(a) a car with manual transmission,
(b) a pair of tennis shoes;
(c) a helmet, and
(d) appropriate outdoor clothing.

Cost: $895.00 (includes HRC Club membership)
Deposit: $495.00 *(with registration form)

Balance: Payable by certified cheque.
(Confirmation letter will be sent upon payment of deposit)

*The deposit is refundable provided you advise the School of cancellation ten (10) working days prior to the course date. A $35 administration fee will be charged for cancellations.

has anyone signed up for this yet? i'm just wondering if this should be "the year" i make the jump.

also, when/if you earn your racing license - is it something you have to re-take every year if you dont do enough events?

Hi,

Can you tell me more about your racing school? i would like to send my
husband for his birthday. He has a BMW M roadster and has taken the BMW
school which he really enjoyed and would like to further advance his
racing/track skills. I just want to make sure i'm sending him to the best
school. What are your instructors credentials? Also, what will he be
learning? Why should I choose your school?

i look forward to your reply.

Thanks for your interest.

If your husband is a graduate of BMW Driver Training, he's probably familiar with HRC's chief instructor, Pierre Savoy. The other instructors all have professional racing experience, as well as being experienced race instructors.

HRC celebrated its 20th anniversary last year.

Feel free call the numbers in my original post.
