I've relocated the battery in my car to the trunk. In the rules it says that it must be contained in a "marine type" box if located in the passenger compartment. The rule doesn't apply for the trunk too, does it? If it does, I'm screwed. Also, for bonus points, can anyone tell me if hood pins need to be attached to the car? I've got the pins set up but no cables to hold 'em down. Other than that, I'm 99.9% sure I'm ready to go this weekend. :) Thanks.

The rule states if the battery is relocated to the passenger compartment then it must be in a marine type battery box. I don't allow people in my trunk but I do know Rocko and Guido who....nevermind. Securely fastened in the trunk will do as long as there is a firewall behind the back seat. The marine battery box is in case of a hit and the battery explodes, it will be comtained in the box or trunk.

You shoule get a piece of wire and afix it to one of the screws on the plate. Not so much if might loose them it's when you get hit or stuff it into the snowbank the pin will not become airbourne.
