I think this will be a better place for classification discussion, because this forum can thread individual issues, as well as being fully searchable.

Me too. When the solo ontario web page puts up the HTML page to incorporate the forum, I think we'll see a lot more.

I was asked to put it together when I offered. So, I hope it is! Otherwise I've wasted a lot of my time and $89 USD. :(

Dave, Chris, you should check out this thread (http://racing.kos.net/soloforums/showthread.php?threadid=86), which explains the features that will be coming in a future "version" of the software, soon.
I've gotten quite used to email lists so this will take a bit of getting used to until I can figure out everything.
I have always wondered why the solocanada and solo@anjura lists were so under-utilized though? Even the rules updates were never announced on it.

Dunno. However, by the nature of this sort of forum, everything you post is archived and searchable. And, the "fun" features of the system make it easier to emote (show emotion) than e-mail, where mis-understandings are easy and common. Here, you can emote. :) :( ;)
I'll be surprised, if Solo Ontario does adopt this forum (and they'd better cuz they asked me to make it!), if it doesn't open plenty of new doors.
Yup, I run into that on some of the marque forums, Canadian humour apparently isn't appreciated in some countries so smilies are good to have.
Steve, thanks for putting this site together. As you say, it should really help organize some of our discussions.
I'm looking forward to seeing many more Solo names in here :) Cheers!
I noticed on the posted amendments to the solo 1 rules it states that
" From that, we have received plenty of feedback on
the Solo Ontario e-mail list where the majority of responses have been positively supportive of the change to a new family-based classification system."
Was it discussed on this forum? How long has this forum been in use?

The forum has only been online for a few days now.
I expected the official web site would have a link by now.
