hi guys,
my third gear syncro is just about pooched, every gear change is a grind...question...how hard is it to replace that syncro? or is it easier to swap in new tranny (i have spare) or are there any neat tricks to get around this grinding of 3rd gear?

Easiest way to fix syncro's......... HEEL and TOE! hehe

Seriously, most of my syncros are fubar'd but as long as I match revs, it's all good.

Double clutching is the real key! Bring me some beer to SMP and I'll give you a campfire tutorial..... we might even talk about your gears too ;)

It is rumored that Jay's last double clutch tutorial resulted in his student making some proctologist a very rich man. It is also believed that Jay ended up getting deported from Halifax to Hamilton shortly after that incident.

Lock your tent at night young Adam.
