Anyone have a Tow Strap?

We're organizing the next weekend, and have most things lined up, but Perry's tow vehicle will be at Mosport, ready to tow his (or Nick's) Sentra.

As a result, we're trying to line up appropriate towing equipment. John Hannaford has graciously agreed to let us use his truck if needed, but we don't have any tow straps.

If anyone has any tow straps that we can (hopefully not) use this weekend, can you let either myself (rmcauley@cogeco.ca) or John Charles (John.Charles@sympatico.ca) know.

Rob, if Al Byrne is registered for the weekend I'm sure he'll have his tow strap with his truck. We used his truck and strap during our rainy weekend to pull everyone out of wet stuff in turn 5 on Nelson :) I'll see if I can get a hold of Al and find out for sure for you, ok?

First of all, I have a tow rope and will pass it along to Chris to take along to your event. Never hurts to have a back-up in case the other one doesn't show up or whatever.

But - OUCH - where did that come from! Sounds like the evil Mad Max has been planting nasty rumours - or maybe Rob just confused me and my Sentra with Chris' BMW! (We all know about the need for towing due to the reliability of Teutonic engineering)

Just to inform all you Solo I organizers, but the tow rope and gloves & crow bars are in the yellow Solo I box that goes to each event.
