Anyone have any information re. the chances that we will be running at TPM this year? ANYONE care to speculate?

i am going down to cayuga this friday probably so i will dig around and see what they are up too

as of last Friday there was no sign of a berm or any work whatsoever being done around the road course. The drag strip tower and support buildings are still under construction. The IHRA Canadian Nationals aren't until Aug 9-11 so I'm sure the focus will be getting ready for that event. If nothing happens on the road course side of things until after the IHRA event, it seems unlikely that the berm will be complete and the track open for business by the 24th. But then again, if the IHRA event is a financial winfall for Cayuga then maybe they'll bring in a big construction crew and have the berm up in a matter of days, so anything is still possible. I'm not going to hold my breath, but that's just me.

yeah if i can make it down there....gonna do a few runs and see what shakes out...my goal is low 13's

best so far is a 14.7 but that was years ago using just NOS :)
