Okay, not techincally an autocross, but here goes anyhow.

1) When repairing an electrical appliance, it is best to shut off the power. Or at least, you know, switch off the appliance...

2) None of the pain relieving medications in my household alleviate electrocution induced headaches.

Technically speaking, I have learned these lessons before. I believe previous "learning" experiences, however, may have damaged my long-term memory.

Yeah - there's no medicine to cure boiled blood... Sorry to hear you got shocked. You'll likely need liquids and rest to fully recover.

Hehehe - I'm fine, arm's a little sore and a bit of a headache, my pride took more of a beating than my body. Heck, having grown up on a farm, I can guarantee you I've zapped myself worse before. I guess as long as I keep doing it right-handed I'll be fine. :D
