04 was a great promotion year for us and put Williams on the map.
In April of 05 we sold our F1 line and partnered with Snyper rotors and built a brand new friction plant in Montreal. Shortly after the merge we landed an account so big we had to build a new second plant to meet demand. This took an incredible amount of time and energy.
06 is running very smooth, too smooth in fact. The big account has just signed on for 2 more years and we landed a few select high performance Honda dealers to supply our product.
As for the Insurance. We are working with ING to underwrite the modified car Insurance policy. The launch date is set for June 1/06 and so far there has been no big Issues crop up to squash the project.
This year I plan to sit back, have alot of fun with the new Civic Si attending some events. No promotion this year, just going to have some fun.
Fin we are blessed at Williams, the friction Industry is going through hell at the moment and Williams is small enough, and an Industry leader in technology that the business climate is helping us and not hurting us.
As for sponsorship. We have selected about 10 drivers in Solo1 and 2 to run our product this year

William the copper corolla has had a major rebuild over the last year and a half. It's now a mostly composite body, chassis stiffened/lightened considerably, suspension componets all new and very much improved, engine is now a jdm 20v with a supercharger added for a little more fun. ;)
Still saddled with stock rotors to allow for the lightweight 13" wheels.
The car is now in D-mod and should be an FTD threat at every event, once car and driver are as one again! :D

every mod car should be an FTD threat.
That is if the SS and SP Miatas don't beat them to it!

[QUOTE=miataboi]every mod car should be an FTD threat.
Really?,thanks for clearing that up
I said should because I need to;
1-learn how to drive all over again
2-get a completly revamped car sorted
Ftd's may not come this year at all who knows,I might suck, car might suck or be broken at every event.Hopefully my wife doesn't get one 1st! :o

Sure... I'd love to co-drive your car at an event... and I'd even provide my input re: setup as well to help on the development curve.
Anyone can drive a well engineered modern car,
that's what a lot of people keep telling me when I am having a good day with my bimmer.
Funny thing is my car IS over 20 year old
Hope to see you out this year in D/M, Tom. I have planned to make it to a few events, at least the double headers .

actually... technically it was built in early 1974(32years old).
i find its easier to setup a car during the season of which it does not break down.

Happy B-day Andrew, thats about all the love I can show you! :D
