Solo I Nationals at St.Eustache on Labour Day Weekend is the only out of province date on my calendar so far.
That and the TRAC school in April.
I'd also consider SCCA Nationals, if I can swing the time off work, and the right setup for my car.

I'm strongly considering a trip to the East coast.
I'm mildly considering going to Topeka as a crew member for someone else.
I'm not really sure what I'm going to do, kinda bummed out about a few events this year...

Rest assure the Labor day Solosprint Nationals will be a great event to do...not just for the track time!!!
The SCCA nationals is a must do if you are a serious soloist. This year may be the biggest Canadian contingent.
The Peru NT is close to you Ontario folks and offers the closest taste to the Nationals on the tour schedule. Don't miss hiphuggers if you go.

I plan on trying out at least one of the US events this summer and I'll also be at St.Eustache for the Solo1 Nats.
Where is the easiest place to find the SCCA schedule for NY, Michigan, etc.?

cadl host wicked events...
the only part I don't get is that they pack up right after 4 runs (they follow SCCA type of events)
not sure if they're still doing this...
competition is nice.. but getting good value for travelling/registration $$ means just as much i'd say

Well Does CADL offer fun runs after that? I can see scoring 4 (actually I asked about capping it at that for our regionals ... got shot down but I asked) it makes sense most of the big competitions are 3 or 4 runs a day, thats it if you can't do it right away too bad.

Most of the time, at club events, they will do fun runs after the days' official 4 runs.
Most of the events that out of province competitors have experienced were Provincials, Nationals or special events, in which we had 100+ competitors. These events make more than 4 runs hard to do.
Normally we also have pretty long courses, so that makes a bit of a difference.
We also pay by the hour at PMG so we try to keep the costs down.
One thing is for sure, the best competition can be found at a CADL/CASC invitational event.
BTW, if it was up to me...all CADL events would be just 3 runs...like SCCA!!
If you can't get it done in 3....practice some more!!
