So, my car is currently undergoing construction with an eye on SS. Here's the list of Mods, I need to know where the car currently sits. beginning with the starting class.

Stock D16A6
Header
Larger than stock diameter catback exhaust with high flow cat
AEM Cold air intake
Si trans with OBX LSD installed
Koni yellows with Ground control coilovers (no camber correction)
Aftermarket steering wheel
Recaro seat(weighs more than stock)
15" Kosei K-1's with Hankook R's (don't protrude)
All tie bars installed
Carbon fibre hood
maybe a short shifter?
Maybe an adjustable rear anti-roll bar?

So what can I keep and what needs to go for SS?

Well, I'm not a Honda guy, so that stock D16A6-whatchamacallit means nothing to me. :)

CRX Si's start in G Stock and move to CSS when prepped. According to the 2005 rule set, it looks to me like you've got nine points on the car. Six points was the limit in SS. Here's how I figure it:

Hood - 1
Header - 2
Intake - 0
Exhaust - 0
LSD - 1
Konis - 0
Ground Controls - 3
Steering wheel - 0
Seat - 1
K1s - 0
Tie bars - I'm not sure; I've never really understood that section of the rules.
Short shifter - 0
Sway bar - 1

Total = 9

Of course, this is completely for entertainment purposes only, closed driver on a professional course, your mileage may vary. Please consult your friendly neighbourhood Solo II Director for an official ruling. :D

yeah you can easily get that car into SS. Stock Seat and Hood would hte way to go and not install those Maybe's you have.

one thing to look at is in Wes' thread about rule changes Camber Kits will be allowed on cars in SS so you might want to consider that (part of the 3 points your taking for the springs, you could also do Bushings in this section as well)

You could also install a fire extinguisher (-1) and leave either your hood OR your seat (but not both).
