so as i am prepping my car last night..the fancy smancy fuel pump that i have (aeromotive 1000hp inline pump) craps out!!!!!

we take it apart and find that the magnets that are inside have DEGLUED from the wall..and thus just clamping down on the motor!!!!

well that sucks..since its a $600 pump..and its only 1 year old..so i am battleing with aeromotive to cover it under warrenty..in any case i have a new one on order and they SAY it will be in today? if not i am screwed for the weekend...

i have one backup plan using a bosch pump....but i am not sure where to get it? obviously it has to be local

yeah but now the fun starts to see if its still under warrenty :(

it just drives me nuts...just so you know the history of my fuel situation..here it is...

1=ran turbo system off stock pump maxed out at 50psi at 200rwhp
2=bought a "supposidly" great venom in tank pump...it flowed to 215rwhp....
3=then put in a aeromotive pump..had to redo all the lines with 10an, put in a 10an bung..and custom weld in a thunderbird fuel trap...
4=1st aeromotive pump craps out...my installer did not put a filter before the pump as called out in the installation specs(needs one before and after if you can believe that) had to get replacement pump
5=installed race foam to stop fuel sloshing around..
6=2nd aeromotive pump craps out... magnets fell apart...

so now i am putting in my 3rd aeromotive pump...my car seeing a total of 5..count em 5 fuel pumps installed in it in the past 1 1/2 years....thats why i am a bit peeved on this fuel situation thing....ahhhhhh

dood, get a Bosch pump, those things are indestructable.
