If you were registered in the regional series last year, then your number has been reserved for you for this year and will be kept until after the second event if you don't register for the series again.

If you are new to the series, or would like to change your number, the following numbers are available for use in the Regional Series. Remember that numbers belong to drivers and not cars.

15,23,27,48,52,62,63,65,66,75,78,80,81,82,83,89,92,104,106,119,126,129,133,134,140,141,142,143,146-153,155-164,166-179,181-191,193,194,195,196

If you would like to reserve one of these numbers, please send me a PM with the number and your full name. If you already have a number and you would like to change it, you can send me your full name along with your current number, and what you'd like to change it to.

Registration forms which can be completed in advance of the Open House should be posted later tonight.

If there are only two numbers available between 0 and 25, then I come I always started 5th last year? :confused:

Man.. there is so much involved in racing that I had no idea about.

Helmet = Check
Car =... Check? - its being worked on but will be ready
Autoslalom school = Check
Membership = Check
Registration = eh?
Numbers = pardon?
Regional series = *sob*

Maybe someone can help me out. I didnt realize the regional series required numbers to be placed on the car, or that we would have to go as far out as kanata for the races.

And how much is registration for the regionals?

Thanks

bro.. for a newbie.. do any solo II school

it will get you used to the orange things on the ground, finding your way around a sea of cones is the hardest part.

registration
rules
regulations
tire pressures
helmets
tools
samaosaz
run order

all that suff will come easy.. don't worry about it.. theres more than a few folks to help you out

club events are far more casual.. for the regional series.. everyone "takes it up a notch"

if you don't care about the "novice" title.. do as many club events first..
vette, hada, pitl, barrie etc...

but don't be surprised this time next year you end up with a garage/bedroom full of wheels and tires

Reserved number doesn't necessarily mean a competitor shows up...

Hehe, considering I still live at home, I'm sure my father would beat me like a stray dog..

But thanks for all the info. I'll do my best to show up at the open house and bug everyone there to find out what I need to know.

Cheers

Like Hanif said, people didn't always show up, all this means is that the people with those numbers at one point paid the series registration fee and did at least 1 event last year.

If you can make it out to the Solo 2 Open House this weekend, that would be your best bet for getting all your questions answered!

Registration for the regional series is $30, and if you come out to the Open House that includes a Series T-Shirt and Free Subscription to Inside Track!

I hope the shirts are bigger this year. I seem to have moved up a class over the winter. :rolleyes:

Wes will have to comment on that - you'll still get the t-shirt, not sure about the subscription.
