Ron Fellows... so fast in the new Corvette C5-R that he had to take ten minutes of break time so that he could wait around for the 24 hour clock to tick down.

Awesome race! One for the record books!

Way to go, Ron! He was going like absolute stink in the rain, so he deserved that break. Had me worried when he rolled down onto the apron to wait for his teammate for the photo op.

Great event and really decent coverage by Speedvision! Bravo! And Encore!

Let's not forget to give props to Dale Earnhardt, Earnhardt Jr. and Andy Pilgrim. Despite having tranny troubles, completely swapping the entire transmission and later realising it was a halfshaft and then swapping THAT, they still held on for 4th overall and 2nd in class. Little E was having some trouble in the rain, but Big E was a master in the rain and was loving every minute of it.
