SOLO 1 Style event

We are holding a Solo 1 or Time Attack style event at Sunset Speedway on May 28, 2006. You will have a minimum of 5 sessions consisting of 5 laps (1 warm up, 3 hot and 1 cool down) on the 1/3 mile banked oval! Entry forms are available if you give me your email address. We are limited to 50 cars.

Will there be any classing?

As in, If I were to come with my Solo 1 prepped Mustang, would I be put up against a stock car?

Since this is the 1st event, there will be no classes, just run what ya brung and have fun!
If the event is a big success and we have some commitments about people running another such event we will probably have a mini series of some kind with basic classifications.

Oval tracks are fun, too bad I do have other commitments.....

I was at the speedway on Friday checking out the track and some of the new changes, so I took a few laps in my Mazda 6 GT.......You can really get going on that track, i was doing about 90kmh down the straight and 60kmh in the turns and that was just at a cruise......Im glad my race car didn't have a speedo when we were breaking in the engine there!
