After having run at the WOSCA event this past weekend, I'm having withdrawls already and it's only Monday morning.
Any Solo2 anywhere this coming weekend or do I have to wait until the following weekend and possibly lose my mind in the mean time?

Yep, you can go to the SoloSprint track school which will also help your Solo 2 skills. SoloSprint is like Solo 2 but in slow motion for us old fogeys.
Talk to Anamaria if you're interested. soloontario@cogeco.ca

I would definitely like that, only problem is that it's out of my budget right now. I doubt a lapping school will be $30 or less. :o

So, I suddenly realized that I'm actually free this weekend.... and low and behold, NO AutoX events this weekend? BMW? Nope. Comp? Nope. WOSCA? Nope. HADA? Nope. PITL? Nope. Just the SoloSprint school. And nothing next weekend, either?! Withdrawal!!!!
Awwwwwww, I guess I'm going to have to spend time with the wife. :( Now, I just have to convince her that I did it for her, rather than there were just no events.
FYI: The wiredmotorsports.com website still says that May 13 is CONFIRMED.

The first race weekend of the year is this weekend at Mosport... and tickets are free! Come see everyone break out the shiny new cars, they may not all stay that way for long.

Steve, I think there's a Wosca event on the 21st. Could be wrong....

Tod, I really think you should have put the word 'break' in BOLD CAPITALS :D
If you're behind the wheel this weekend: Good Luck! Stay Safe....

Mother's Day - go with your story, milk it for all its worth, and book the points. You'll need 'em when you have to, say, come home from the honeymoon a day early to make an event. I speak from experience. ;)

St LAC is running an event on May 21st at Picton Airport -- think of it as a regional warm-up.

How many GTA folks are headed to the Picton event? I'm guessing you stay at a local motel the night before, but what about afterwards?
Also, if you're not competing in the seasonal points race, is it worth the drive?

I've never motel-ed it. The drive to Picton is relatively easy and I've never had a problem getting there in time from East York. For what it's worth, I've always found Picton to be one of the better events of the season - well worth the trip, even if you're not running regionally. :)

Hey Marsh, I'd rather NOT drive to Picton two Sundays in a row... any update on the 21st in Woodstock?
