What sort of useful life are you guys getting out of your R-comps?
Mine (Victoracers) seem to lose a fair bit of perfomance even with a decent amount of rubber left. Grip under acceleration and braking seems to drop off first.
Do you need to heat cycle them after storing for the winter?

Where do you store them?

They were stored in Tire Totes in my living room.

With a large piece of glass over them and used as a coffee table perhaps? :)

Probably spilled beer on them and it soaked into the compound :D

I think in Greg's case the tires are trying to kill themselves.....so they don't have to see him in that hat anymore.
The rest of us could only be so lucky......

That's brilliant! Shine those wheels up and use them to decorate.
In the summer, you could use your winter wheels & tires although the table would be shorter.

Shhh!! That's my traction secret! Maybe that's why when I looked curiously at the H-bomb spraying down his 710's last year, he sprayed it in his mouth to prove that it wasn't "tractionizer". Hmm!

OK, settle down, kids. I did make my tire stacks (three of 'em!) into a bar over the Christmas, but I never used it as such. Besides, I prefer wine as I get older and more sophisticated.
And that hat was only $9 at Zellers...now everyone can have one too, heh heh.
