no no... we don't need to experience rain in the 1st race of the year. Although my new Hankook RS211s will work best now compared to rain later in the season.

i hear RA1's do great in the rain :)
altho mine are shaved... a bit :(
but they are new :)
but i have almost no experience driving hardcore in the rain :(
i bet everyone is gonna have fun regardless :)

You don't have to use Kingston... there's the Weather Network site just for Shannonville (http://theweathernetwork.ca/weather/cities/can/Pages/CAON1747.htm).
Hmmm. AWD on a tight technical course in the rain on RA1's worn to 4/32". If it wasn't for that darned sweeper (turn 1), I'd say go for it.
BTW, after the Solo 2 event in Bracebridge, I've gotten used to checking the "Bug Report" for each event as well. "High" for black flies and "High" for Mosquitoes on Saturday night. :(

Yes sir ... DEET is your friend, even though I'm sure it causes some sort of cancer or black death.
