Any Solo 1 or Solo 2 Series registered competitor that scores 95 points or better in a Regional Solo 1 or Regional Solo 2 event qualifies to participate in the Shoot-out.

Hmmmm... I think I have. If not, that's a good motivator to get my ass in gear this Saturday at Shannonville!

There is also one Regional Solo 2 event, September 22nd at Douro (sp) Arena in Peterborough, hosted by PMSC, details to follow soon as well.

If you fill out the regional series form at the event, pay the $5 additional fee you can also be scored in the series (for that event, obviously) and possible qualify there as well, again if you score 95 points or better.

Options. You gotta qualify for the Shoot-out!

So how does the shoot out work? Does everyone drive their own car, or are they driving all the same car( Better idea) where the driver shines? I'm thinking with Subaru as a sponsor, they could bring a 18 wheeler full of WRX's for us.

You run your car! You will be classed based on the Regional Solo 2 rules and then two (2) drivers from each "family" (A,B,C, similar but dissimilar to Solo 1, refer to the Solo 2 rule book for classification and prep points schedules) and one mod class driver will advance to the shoot-out. There will be three qualifing runs each and the paxing system will determine the fastest drivers in each family (also outlined in to the Solo 2 rule book).

The seven finalists will hop in the Subaru's and ......."shoot it out". Two runs for each driver in each car and the fastest guy wins.

Big prizes! Big bragging rights! The winner is the Solo Ontario Top Gun! (Oh, yeah, lunch is included for all drivers)
